Wendy Ledeux

Wendy Ledeux is a BSL/English interpreter and trainer as well as Linguistpd’s Owner & Founder. She interprets in a variety of domains including Access to Work, medical, community, child protection and theatre. She began working as a CSW in education in 1999 and qualified via SLI’s UCLAN PDGip in 2005.

She is committed to ensuring the best support possible to enable Deaf professionals to achieve their full potential and enjoys supporting other communication professionals to develop professionally to this end. She has been training face-to-face for many years on subjects such as ethics, telephone interpreting, humour and workplace interpreting along with Dr Jules Dickinson.

Wendy is also a qualified electronic note taker and enjoys Pilates, travelling and salsa dancing as well as spending time with her cats – Linguistpd’s mascots Smudge and Paddington!
