Looking After Ourselves with Tenderness & Acting with Courage – 12 hour Deep Dive Workshop
This course is delivered by: Dr Wendy McIntosh
During this two-day workshop, Dr McIntosh will use experiential learning (Psychodrama) to explore a number of themes throughout the day including Vicarious Trauma, Compassion Fatigue, Boundaries, Transference, Limbic System and Attachment.
Wendy also develops a new theme of acting with courage and finding your voice.
Have you ever felt on the edge of burnout? Understanding why and how it happens can help us reduce the risk of recurrence. Dr McIntosh will also develop further the theme of tenderness to help equip us with tools to prevent it happening in the first place.
In this 12 hour workshop, time will allocated to exploring topics of self-care that you want to dig deeper into. Wendy will also lead an intensive examination into the importance of client-boundaries and self care strategies.
Two days also allows time for a thorough coverage of the theory underpinning the practical nature of Wendy’s training.
We encourage you to participate in the numerous practical exercises using psychodrama.
