How it works

Our training sessions last approximately 2 hours, providing 2 structured CPD points. They consist of 3 parts:

  • A 60 minute powerpoint presentation
  • 30 minutes of questions from viewers which are read out and answered by the presenter.
  • 30 minutes’ optional audience discussion of presentation topic, challenges and success stories.

You will also be given bonus material to help you evidence your attendance and record learning outcomes.

Where possible, you will receive a recording afterwards which will be active for a limited period of time. If you cannot attend on the evening, you may purchase the recording after the event.


What is a webinar? 

It’s a seminar carried out over the Internet. Think web + seminar = webinar. It’s a simple process to get up and running. We will help you with the set up if you need it. Just don’t leave it to the last minute to try it out! The presenter will share their screen with you and provide both slides and an explanation for you to follow along. You will have the opportunity to pose questions to the presenter and have them answered.

Do I need a webcam?

No. Unless otherwise stated, you will not be seen on the webinar. You will need speakers or a means to listen to the webinars which will be presented in English.

I’ve just paid by Paypal – what happens next?

You’ll receive an email from with full instructions on how to access your live/recorded webinar. Please check your junk/spam folder if you do not receive it within 30 minutes, then email and we will assist you.

I’ve been prompted to pay by Stripe and create a Thinkific login….

Our webinars are being moved to our e-learning school: Stripe is a secure alternative to Paypal. Once you’ve created your login you will be able to access all your webinars in one place. These webinars are available for 90 days from the date of purchase.

 I am a US interpreter and I’d like to earn CEUs for a previously recorded webinar. What should I do?

Some of our webinars are already qualify for CEUs. See our CEU page for further instructions.  Want to watch a different webinar and claim CEUs? Please contact us at or your local chapter of RID to receive instructions on how to proceed.

I’m trying to watch a recording and have the message ‘Error loading player: No playable sources found’. What should I do?

You are seeing this message because the media player on your computer (e.g. Adobe Flash for Macs, or Windows Media Player) is out-of-date. Install the relevant updates and you will be able to view the videos online.

Can we watch the webinar as a group? Do you have special rates?

Sure! If you would like to view a webinar as a group then email and we will instruct you on how to proceed.
Our discounts for groups are as follows:
10-14 learners – 10%
15-19 learners – 15%
20-24 learners – 20%
25+ learners –  25%

We do also offer bespoke and corporate training for groups so do email us to enquire further.

NB: Unauthorised group bookings are not permitted and will be referred to your registration body.

We’re happy to accommodate as far as is possible. Get in touch (with plenty of notice if you’re planning to join a live webinar) and let us know what you need.

I’ve paid for my place on a live webinar but now I can’t attend – will I get a recording? 

Although we are unable to guarantee a recording of a yet-to-be broadcast webinar, recordings are usually available within 2-3 working days of transmission. Please refer to our recording policy in the learner terms and conditions.

Our recorded webinars are available to purchase on our website shortly after transmission.
