Naomi Cherubin

Naomi Cherubin is a Registered Sign Language Interpreter (RSLI) with over 14 years experience of interpreting in various domains. She has developed a strong interest in healthcare and mental health interpreting, and has significant experience working with Deaf children and young people in these settings. This passion led her to focus her MSc dissertation, at Queen Margaret University, on the challenges interpreters face when working with Deaf children in healthcare settings.

Naomi relishes the opportunity to support trainee interpreters in her role as a Senior Practitioner and Assessor. She values the chance to mentor and guide new professionals in the field, helping them to develop their skills and confidence
