- How to decide whether to use consecutive instead of simultaneous interpreting.
- How to manage the flow of communication
- Making use of both short-term and long-term memory
- Strategies to enhance your consecutive interpreting.
Dr Aldersson will discuss tools such as note-taking, segmenting and making use of semiotic resources to support your interpretation.
With a mixture of breakout rooms and taught content and an opportunity to have your questions answered about all things ‘consec’, it will be an informative 2 hour session.
